Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas!
We started Christmas Eve by going to our neighbours house for a neighbourhood get together. This was nice and we got to meet the rest of the neighbours in the street that we hadn't yet met.

After this, we went into town for Church. The Cathedral was packed. We were lucky to get a seat. It's hard to say how many, maybe 2000 worshippers. The Mass was beautiful. David alter served as he usually does. He really enjoys alter serving and he does a good job of it.

There was a little bit of snow around but it was quite mild for this time of year. All up and down the street

they have living Christmas trees all lit up with lights. It easily gets you into the Christmas Spirit.

Christmas Day was spent opening and playing with presents. Eating, drinking and being Merry.

  2. It was definitely different from an Aussie Christmas. At one stage it got hot inside from all the cooking, all we had to do was open the front door for 2 minutes - instant air conditioning!
