Despite the miserable weather we were still able to get out for a walk in the near-by National Park, although it was a short, quick one! The weather over the last week has been rainy, windy and cold. Then, to our amazement at the end of the week it started snowing again!
There hasn't been any snow for weeks and signs of spring were everywhere. For one last time the kids donned their snow suits, beanies, gloves, boots and I thought to myself, I'm glad they don't do this 3 or more times everyday now as they use to, it is an effort.
Well it was snowball rolling snow and it didn't last long, it was gone by the end of the day. Although, the end of the day is quite a long time now as it is not getting dark until 8:30pm which is playing havoc with the kid's bed time, and they are loving it!
Thankfully the weather is now warming up again. Yesterday, it was nice and sunny and for the first time since I've been here I was able to sit outside on the deck and drink my coffee!
