The trees have taken on a reddish hew, new buds are growing and the leaves will soon return. The first 3 flowers of spring were discovered in our garden, with much excitement by the girls today. Big yellow daisies. Of course, they were quickly picked so now we are back to none. The grass is also turning back to bright green, it was straw coloured after the snow melted.
We went for a walk along the beach at the end of our road again. This time to our great surprise we came across a really big seal that was just sitting on the sand snoozing. It was a great site. At first, from a distance we thought it was a rock, until it moved which scared the socks off of Helena. She wouldn't come anywhere near it for a while. It was pretty funny.
Other than that we've been busy with school, catechises, church, team chess training and Eve having her first turn on a swing! Which she liked a lot and is looking forward to doing again soon.
