Eve Turns One Year Old

This week my beautiful, Eve, turned one year old. She is such a blessing to our family, and brings so much joy, as all the kids do. I've only known her for 1 of my 37 years but can't imagine life without her now. Funny, how kid's do that to your life.

Note, Vincent's beard, in the top photo. Guess what he gave up for lent? shaving and cutting his hair! I guess he really wanted to emulate Jesus this lent, even in looks! I still haven't figure out if that was his penance or mine! I've never been so happy to see the end of lent (and the end of that beard)! Not that there's anything wrong with that (for all you bearded men out there :)

On other news, we've had a pretty quiet week. Ninety-eight % of the snow is gone, we have had a bit of snow, but it doesn't last long on the ground it just melts away.

Naomi, did well at the monthly chess tournament yesterday, bringing home the silver medal. She has been practising a lot this month. David had a 3 way tie for first, and Mary-rose put in a good effort.
