We arrive at our pre-booked cottage. It’s clean, has a beautiful view of the water but way too cold. This is a big problem, stay a couple of hours, I put on the oven to try and heat the place up. All of the electricity goes out. I ring the agent, tell him we are leaving, this place is not good enough. Ring around, get a taxi to a much nicer, WARM cabin. Thank God we hadn’t paid for the 1st cabin in advance. I’m feeling very frazzled now and am extremely tired. The horrors come upon me, for the first and last time I wonder if we have made a mistake coming here. I’m feeling very vulnerable, praying is the only thing that makes me feel better.
Sun. 11th – The next morning is bright and sunny. I have had some sleep and the horrors have left me. I'm feeling more positive now, but will feel unsettled until we have a car and home. I Keep praying we find something soon.
